About Us
Granny's Country Store grew out of a desire to find fabulous fragrance and essential oils as well as the freshest herbs for my home use. Since I create my own candles, soaps and other "smell good things" for my family, I got quite upset when I would order an oil from someone and find out - after I'd spent my hard-earned money! - that what I received was nowhere near what I was led to believe I would get. I also wanted to use only the BEST oils and herbs for my home fragrances, natural healing, aromatherapy and teas. After ages of searching I was able to find wholesale manufacturers and importers of top-of-the-line fragrance and essential oils. . . only to find that there was an unreasonable minimum amount I had to buy. I ran into the same problem with herb suppliers. As a result - and since there is only so much oil I can use at any one time - this store was born.
