Would you like to make your own Incense?
It's really easy with the directions here. To make 100 sticks or cones of Incense you'll need the following items at hand.
1. Incense Cones or Incense Sticks.
2. Fragrance Oil in a scent you like.
3. DPG (dipropylene glycol) This cuts down on soot and helps the incense burn longer as well as fixing the scent.
4. Any glass or ceramic container large enough to hold cones or sticks.
5. Old newspapers or paper towels for drying.
6. Something to store the finished product in (ie. Baggies)
Simply take your Fragrance Oil and combine it with the DPG in a large container. Shake well to combine the oils. Place you Incense Cones or Sticks in the container that you found large enough to hold them all and cover with the Frangrance Oil / DPG mixture. Leave this to soak for 24 hours. After 24 hours drain the leftover oil back into a bottle. You'll want to save this so you can use it again. Place the Incense Cones or Sticks on newspaper or paper towels to dry for at least 2 days. You can tell when the are dry by the scent and the fact that they won't flame up when lit. Place the finished product in a storage bag and order more oils from Granny's Country Store to make more
